Ouch is an understatement.
I got my weekly allergy shots today, and six hours later
this is the resulting welt that is almost the size of the palm of my hand.
The nurses in my allergists office call me
"A Delicate Flower."
Last week I had a horrible reaction, so the nurse said we should
go back several doses,
and move the injection site to my leg.
It stung when it went in,
and just like a Timex that keeps on ticking,
the welt kept on welting.
I put ice on it.
I put the prescribed cortisone cream on it.
I took a Benedryl.
I even talked soothingly to it.
It is still angry.
